The 2022 Insurance Brokers Code Compliance Committee's Annual Data Report demonstrated that identification and reporting of Code Breaches is a sign that internal compliance systems and processes are operating effectively and provides Subscribers with valuable insight into their businesses processes and procedures. However, the report also identified that a proportion of subscribers are not reporting breaches or don't have adequate regular protocols in place to monitor and therefore readily respond to the annual data collection.
Join NIBA CEO, Phil Kewin and the AFCA General Manager Code Compliance, Prue Monument as they discuss the value of breach reporting, preparing for the Annual Compliance Statement, using Code breach data to deliver improved client outcomes, and improving adherence to the Code.
During this session, Subscribers can expect to learn about:
- the role of the Insurance Brokers Code Compliance Committee (IBCCC),
- what is expected of Subscribers during the Annual Compliance Audit process,
- using breach reporting as a tool to enhance existing compliance processes, and
- what Subscribers can do now to prepare for the Audit process and streamline reporting.
Members from NIBA and the IBCCC will also be on hand to answer your questions about the Code compliance process.
